Attractions

Anglesey is an Island jewel.

A seven day break on the Island will not be enough to explore her jewel packed attractions , we are confident you will want to retun!

Whatever your choice, Anglesey has something for all and the mainland completes the package with added attractions.

Anglesey is an Island community of 66.8 thousand. With very little heavy industry to speak of, a large majority of the employment comes from the tourist industry.

Water Sports ...........with sandy beaches in abundance, water sports are obviously popular and are within easy reach Trearddur Bay and Holyhead are popular locations.

Fishing.......rock , surf or boat fishing, Anglesey is the ideal location. Boat chartering available .

Walking......take your pick! The whole of the Anglesey Coastline is just on your doorstep. Anglesey is a predominantly flat Island (although the cottage itself is located at sea level and at the base of a steep hill) .If you prefer a mountain walk then why not venture over to the mainland to the fantastic scenery of Snowdonia?

History...... the Island is steeped in history, be it the dramatic castle in Beaumaris, the fantastically engineered bridges that connect the Island to the mainland or the Royal seat at Aberffraw. Something for all historic tastes.

Nature........escape the stresses of daily life and explore the local wildlife right on your doorstep. The cottage is located at the base of Mynydd Llwydiarth (Llwydiarth Hill), which is the home of one of two populations of Red Squirrels found on Anglesey. Owls will often send you off to sleep at night and by day our local buzzard family are sure to entertain. Anglesey's coast is a naturalists haven, a bird watchers paradise. You will not be disappointed!
